Seems like the seat simply shouldn't exist.
Thank you for the video. I have been trying my best to get used to this new system without apple CarPlay. I can get by but it's far from a good experience in many ways. CarPlay was easy, fast and Safer to use while driving.
Great Video, 1st video on the '25 Camry I've heard of the subscription fees which completely turn me off. Thank you!
Great video, showed warts and all with the system, which many reviewers seem to gloss over. Sending that text message looked painful! How is this system connecting? Is the car connected via 5G? is it correct that this is included for 8 years at no additional cost? thanks!
Apple Maps? Ew.
Having to run the air conditioning at high levels (Texas) will decrease gas mileage. So will cold temperatures. When I can keep the climate control off with open windows or not driving during the winter I can get up to 50 mpg with my 2019 Avalon Hybrid.
Charge your battery. Jeez

I think I’d like to upgrade to an Atlas CrossSport next year for the size and the 4motion system. I have a 2020 Tiguan SEL with 260,000 miles on it and for me it has been great, never a problem on any of the 20+ trips from Pensacola Florida to San Diego California and on my other “I wanna go there” trips I have taken. I really enjoy driving and threatened that if I left commercial driving I would explore and “Go See” instead of just driving to get there. It’s neither here nor there, I ran premium fuel and changed my engine oil every 5,000 miles and still no catastrophic valve carbon build up, interstate driving probably made a difference though.
Great review! Thanks for posting.

If your goal with this video was to reassure viewers about the setup process for a new car, it seems counterproductive to express your own frustration throughout. Many people are already aware that setting up a new car can be a bit tedious. However, your visible annoyance from the outset undermines the reassurance you aim to provide. I stopped watching around the six-minute mark because your evident irritation made it difficult to continue.

Hi Jill. How does the car get data? Turning on a hotspot on your phone to feed wifi to the car every time you drive could get real expensive real quick. Thanks.
@@emerywang Wi-Fi hot spot in the car.
@@jillciminillo Which carrier does the car get the hotspot from? How is it paid for? That's really the $64,000 question here. How does the car get a wifi hotspot while on the road, and who pays? If it's the customer, then it means you have to get an additional cell phone subscription for the car. I think that is the first question that comes to most peoples' minds if the car no longer depends on your cell phone's data plan. Thanks.
That’s pretty good that someone 6’6” can even remotely fit there.
All the Toyota did change the front bumper, hood, trunk and rear bumper nothing else and the headlights interior dashboard seats have changed, but the body frame everything is just exactly like previous generation
And I love it
Anyone who asks a 6'6" person to sit in the third row would just be a shitty person. How much room are we expecting in a 3rd row
Do the brakes still have that spongy disconnect feel as last years gen had ??
Just got a 2025 SE (with only the convenience package) via Toyota dealership internet sales. $34,000 cash out the door and also got free mats.
Thanks for that hint on mats.😊
I'm getting better mpg in my 2019 all gas Camry.
Thank you. It is a big deal for me!
Agreed 😢
Hybrid is not worth it unless you drive a lot. Not worth it for the average person.
I knew it was Google’s system, but I underestimated the obnoxiousness of them leveraging their ecosystem so hard. Syncing with a Gmail? Absolutely not. I know it isn’t required but this will allow Google to obtain sensitive data about millions of people who don’t know any better. Disgusting move by GM. There was absolutely nothing wrong with CarPlay or Android Auto, even less so with the next generation of CarPlay coming out. I love my Bolt and grew up in a family of GM UAW workers, but I will be looking to other manufacturers for my EV needs who don’t seek to sell my data and arbitrarily lock down core features of MY property.
I got over 43 mpg (actual calculated at the gas pump, the car said I was getting over 45) in my non-hybrid 2024 Camry LE on my trip from Kansas to Florida and back. In normal mode. lol. It did come with Michelin Energy tires, which suck in every condition but dry pavement and I plan to be getting rid of them soon, I just wanted to see if they could get better mpg than my prior Corolla and they did

Useful information ! 👍👍👍
Remember in 2009 I buy almost full option for 26K. Today this car is way overpriced and cheap made
Because the stupid guy fk up the oil industry. Gas is up, inflation is also up. Car price is 10k or more. That is why.
Im really liking these new Camrys. I have a 2021 Mazda6 Signature that I absolutely love! It has EVERYTHING! Including heads up display and adaptive headlights that turn when the wheel does. It has Front wheel drive, the 2.5L turbo, 6 speed auto trans, 19" wheels, Falken FK460's (NICE!!). If I drive like grandma, I can squeeze out 27MPG combined. If I drive like me, I get around 22MPG. And for some reason 89 octane lasts a really long time. Ive got around 450 miles on one tank driving like me. I dont know if Ill ever trade the Mazda because mine is the last year and the top model. I might garage it and buy another daily driver. The new Camry is definitely on the list!
@@victorramsey5575 i’m a total Mazda fan girl, and nothing beats ride and handling in any vehicle they produce. But this Camry is really quiet and well done. More sedate and less sporty. So kind of a different vibe depending on what you’re looking for.
fuel economy will get better as it breaks in , my car got much better around 5000 miles
I have a 2025 Camry LE and I am getting 55MPG.
That's good to hear. Are you employing hypermile techniques? And how many miles do you have on it so far?
@@jillciminillo I don't know what hypermile techniques are. I only have around 500 miles on it so far. This is my first Hybrid.
@@charleswtuggleI drive a 2024 Honda Accord EX-L Hybrid. I hypermile. I get 55 mpg to 60 mpg in city driving. How much did you pay for your 2025 Canry LE out the door?
@@myytchannel6632 I have $2200 in options and I paid $31500 out the door. A 2024 Accord Hybrid would have cost me $3500 more then my Camry equipped the same way. Besides, I feel the reliability is better in the Camry then the Accord. And I don't know what hypermile is.
I got the 25’ LE too and also avg around 55mpg on first tank. I love everything except the tire noise but i think because it’s so quiet I notice it more than my honda. I paid 31.5k OTD in NYS. 29k before tax. I got the cold weather & convenience packages. I read on reddit some people got it for 29k OTD.
Wow your mpg is surprising! I'm getting over 60mpg on my 2025 LE. The reason yours is lower is because of the highway driving but 36 is lower than I'd expect even for only highway driving. Not sure why it's so low. Great video though thank you I'm very happy with my camry. I got it for 29k OTD with convenience package
Glad to hear you're getting such good mileage! I also wonder if the vehicle hadn't been properly broken in yet with miles. I think there were just 1,000 or so miles on it when I drove it. So, it's still new, new. But, yeah even at 75 mph for 400 miles, 36 mpg just seemed a tad low to me.
PLEASE, what dealership did you get your 2025 LE with Convenience Package for $29,000 OTD? I am looking for one. Please share the name of the dealership and maybe even salesperson so I can try to get the same deal. Thanks a lot in advance.
@@jillciminillo that is not it. I got 43.4 mpg on the first tank, but have gotten over 46MPG since. The displayed MPG for the life of the vehicle is 46. My calculated based on the pump is higher. I do mostly highway driving. I have a AWD XSE. My total miles is a hair over 2000. The only tank I got below 46mpg was the first one. My highway MPG ranges from 45.5 to 52.5. My in town driving averages under 40, but I think that is due to living in a very hilly place. Also with local drives I am more likely to have a bunch of weight in the car (passengers, etc). My XSE has the larger 19" rims and so should get worse mpg than the XLE you tested. Cruise control helps as it is smoother than I am. I am not employing hypermile techniques. just the ACC, that and I try to limit speeding and passing.

Nope … well, not gas only. Engine is mated to a hybrid powertrain

@@jillciminillo, I sent you a email relating to this video.
It’s a hard choice between this and the Accord. The Accord has better NHV, and rides better but the Camry gives you AWD and an engine that has port and direct injection unlike the Accord. I also like the interior design of the Accord a lot better but that front end will need to be fixed in the mid cycle refresh.
Drive them back to back. I did and decided on an XSE. The Accord Touring was not as comfortable (weird shape to seat). The Accord Sport-L was very comfortable, but there was more road noise. I think the accord looks better inside and out. It also has a better sounding stereo. But the Camry was more comfortable and quiet and the XSE just drove better as well. And I drive mostly highway where the Accord only gets 41mpg. Also I preferred the AWD. I wanted to buy an accord, but for me the Camry was a better fit.
@@bjornlovoll8972 The XSE, and XLE have more sound deadening than the SE and LE. For the Accord, i believe most of them have the same amount of sound deadening except for the touring which is the most quiet one. It is odd because SavageGeese Tested the XLE or XSE vs the non touring trim Accord and found the Accord to test slightly worse in terms of noise levels but the Accord had a more refined ride and better NVH overall. You’re correct about the fuel efficiency, the Camry should give you better fuel economy on the highway for sure, in the real world the difference should be about 5 mpg difference or less. I have also heard that Hondas hybrid system is more refined than Toyota, it is slightly less efficient but it should be more refined. What is your opinion about that? The Accord should drive like an EV at city speeds since the electric motor does 100% of the propulsion until you hit higher speeds.
@@bjornlovoll8972 I am going to wait until the refreshed Accord. The Accord with the most isolation is the Touring, the XLE/XSE Camrys both have better isolation than the LE/SE. The weird thing is that when Savagegeese tested XLE/XSE Camry versus a none touring Accord, they still thought the Accord was more refined and isolated even though it tested worst in terms of sound isolation. Which hybrid system did you think was smoother, I don’t mind losing a few mpg if it means it has the smoother hybrid system.
@@Fadic4 I saw the savagegeese video. I can say something funny was going on with regards to that comment. We sat in them more or less at the same lot (a large dealer near where I live includes both Honda and Toyota sub-dealerships. There is no mistaking how much quieter the XLE/XSE was. I wanted to get the Honda, but as I said I decided that looking better by itself was not enough. If the Civic Hybrid had been out, that might have been a better comparison since the MPG is more in line with what the Toyota gets. But 2200 miles in, my XSE is treating me well. I got 50.2mpg on the ride home yesterday (around 45 miles)... of course today on the way to work I only got 45.8, but the speeds were much higher. I'm certain the next gen Accord will be better than the current one, but I can't drive future cars.
@@bjornlovoll8972 I’ll test drive the Touring Hybrid vs the XSE and see how it goes. I don’t even think we have to wait until the next generation, Honda knows the Accord is not in the best spot and will most likely make some good updates in the mid cycle refresh in 1-2 years if they’re smart.
So glad they gave you an XLE!
Outrageous prices...not for me!!

Hey nice video, I live close to MSP too. How is the road and wind noise? Have you leased or financed? Any tips?
@@harishrp4449 I thought road and wind noise were minimal. And, unfortunately, I didn’t buy it. I was just testing it to review.
I bought a new Camry. I didn't even wait for the Free trial period to end. I called them and had everything shut off including XM. If you don't you automatically agree to their terms and conditions after only 30 days. This equates to a lifetime of tracking weather you subscribe or not. The rest of the car is great. But you know what Toyota can do with the fee scam.
Make sure to turn off the driver tracking that they do and share with insurance companies, it should be in your Toyota account setting.
